ABM Project

The ABM are collaborating with The University of Melbourne and University of NSW as part of a 2020-21 Port Phillip Bay Fund project "CoastSnap for Port Philip Bay".

The project has funded installation of eight CoastSnap photo-stations around Port Phillip Bay.  At each station beach goers can use their mobile phone to take an image of the beach, contributing to the production of high resolution measurements of beach change through time.

The project also includes a Port Philip Bay focused web portal for the collation and display of images and associated scientific analysis of shoreline change.

Project partners: The University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, individual bayside municipalities and the ABM.
