Current project
Port Phillip Bay Coastal Hazard Assessment
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is undertaking a Coastal Hazard Assessment for Port Phillip Bay. The project will define the extent of land around the Bay predicted to be threatened by the coastal hazards of inundation, erosion and changes in groundwater under a number of different climate scenarios.
The information generated will facilitate planning and management of current and future natural, cultural and economic assets, and the setting of state, regional and council priorities.
Lead: Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning
Partnership: ABM is represented on the Project Control Board along with ABM Member Councils, Parks Victoria and Melbourne Water.
